6. Google API Services User Data

MaiAgent integrates with Google Workspace to provide AI-powered productivity features. This section describes how we handle data received from Google APIs.

6.1 Data Accessed

Depending on the permissions granted by the user, our application may access the following Google user data:

  • Google Drive — files, folders, and metadata for reading, creating, and managing documents
  • Google Docs — document content for reading and editing
  • Google Sheets — spreadsheet content for reading and editing
  • Google Slides — presentation content for reading and editing
  • Google Forms — form structure and response data
  • Gmail — email messages for reading, sending, and managing
  • Google Calendar — calendar events for reading and managing
  • Basic profile information — name and email address for authentication

6.2 How We Use Google User Data

Google user data is used solely to provide the AI assistant features requested by the user, such as:

  • Reading and summarizing Google Drive files, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Forms through the AI assistant
  • Creating, editing, and organizing documents on behalf of the user
  • Sending and managing emails through the AI assistant
  • Reading and managing calendar events

We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements, including retargeting, personalized, or interest-based advertising.

6.3 Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share Google user data with any third parties. Google user data is only accessible to the authenticated user and their authorized enterprise administrators.

6.4 Data Storage and Protection

  • OAuth tokens are stored in encrypted form on AWS infrastructure with AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 encryption in transit.
  • Google user data is retrieved in real time from Google APIs and is not separately copied or indexed in our systems.
  • Conversation logs generated through AI assistant interactions may contain summaries or excerpts of Google user data as part of the conversation history.

6.5 Data Retention and Deletion

  • OAuth tokens — retained until the user revokes access. Users can disconnect Google Workspace from within the MaiAgent platform by navigating to Connectors → Manage my connectors and selecting Disconnect for Google Workspace. Upon disconnection, OAuth tokens are immediately deleted from our systems. Users may also revoke access through their Google Account permissions page.
  • Conversation logs — retained as part of the enterprise service. Enterprise administrators may request deletion of conversation logs by contacting support@maiagent.ai.
  • Google user data — not persistently stored outside of conversation logs. When OAuth access is revoked, our application can no longer access any Google user data.

6.6 Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance

MaiAgent's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We do not retain, use, or transfer Google Workspace user data to develop, improve, or train non-personalized AI and/or ML models.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
