BARCELONA, Spain — Taiwan-based enterprise AI agent platform MaiAgent (思邁智能) made its international exhibition debut at Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona 2026, partnering with Quanta Cloud Technology (QCT) to demonstrate Agentic AI solutions for smart factory applications. Themed "The IQ Era," the event attracted more than 2,900 exhibitors and nearly 110,000 attendees from 207 countries, with Enterprise AI (AI 4 Enterprise) designated as one of six core agenda tracks.
Stationed at QCT's booth, MaiAgent drew sustained interest from European and Asia-Pacific telecom operators, shipping companies, and manufacturing firms evaluating enterprise AI deployments.
MaiAgent is an Application-Ready Solutions (ARS) partner of QCT. The ARS program provides pre-integrated and validated hardware-software architectures to accelerate time-to-deployment for independent software vendors (ISVs). At MWC, MaiAgent demonstrated its proprietary Agentic RAG technology, which enables AI agents to autonomously chain knowledge retrieval, database queries, and document recognition across tools — completing cross-system workflows end-to-end within a single pipeline.
The live demonstrations covered two smart factory scenarios. In the warehouse environment, an AI agent used Text2SQL to query real-time inventory data, flag slow-moving stock, and generate actionable recommendations. On the factory floor, a second AI agent served as an R&D knowledge management assistant — helping maintenance engineers retrieve equipment troubleshooting SOPs and query production yield and capacity metrics on demand.
Smart Factory Scenarios Validate Global Enterprise AI Demand
About 38 Taiwanese companies exhibited at this year's MWC. By participating through QCT, MaiAgent aimed to move beyond pilot conversations and validate real-world demand for enterprise-grade AI in global markets.

Beyond its Barcelona debut, MaiAgent announced a partnership with iGroup, Asia-Pacific's largest academic distributor, in February 2026, extending its reach to academic and research institutions across the region. The company's footprint is now expanding from its established base in Taiwan into European and Asia-Pacific markets.
